By booking directly with us, you will get the best rates AND have the opportunity to work with our concierge to customize your trip to perfection.  

Navigate to the unit you’re interested in and select your dates.  Then simply follow through the on-page instructions to complete your booking. 

After booking the trip, our concierge will reach out to help coordinate your trip add-ons and adventures!

To reserve the dates of your stay, you must leave a deposit of 50% of the total at the time of booking. 

If the booking is canceled at least 120 days prior to the check-in date, a full refund, minus a non-refundable booking fee of $300, will be issued.  All payments will be retained if the booking is canceled within 90 days.  

Of course!  After you make your initial deposit, you can make payments in any fashion as long as the trip is paid in full before check-in. 

Check-In: after 3:00 pm

Check-Out: 11:00 am

Please notify your concierge if your group’s flight times conflict with standard check-in / check-out times.

A standard 15-20% of your rental rate for all the staff is a fair tip.  The staff will divide it up amongst themselves.  Feel free to give an additional tip to a specific worker who stood out.

You do not need to exchange any money as USD is accepted nearly everywhere.  If you pay with USD, you may receive Belizian dollars back which you can use throughout your trip.  

Hopkins Bay has several available ATM’s if you need to get additional cash as well.

Our concierge will reach out after your initial booking to help coordinate all your travel needs, including the initial trip out to the island.

You will initially fly into Phillip S.W. Goldson International Airport in Belize City.  From there, for an additional flight charge, you can fly on a small island hopper down to Dangriga (the closest airport to our marina) where we will have a car arranged to pick you and your party up.  Or, we can have a car arranged to pick you up directly from the international airport.  

TRAVEL OPTIONS:

DRIVE from Belize City to Hopkins Bay: 2 hour drive

FLIGHT from Belize city to Dangriga: 20 minutes

DRIVE from Dangriga to Hopkins Bay: 30 minute drive

DRIVE from Dangriga to Hopkins Bay: 30 minutes

If you choose to find your own activities, there are cars available to rent from Belize City, right outside the airport.  

If you work with our concierge to plan adventures through us, ALL TRAVEL WILL BE INCLUDED to and from the adventures.

It is highly recommended that you book ALL of your adventure packages before arrival on the island via your concierge.  Pre-booking will guarantee the availability of the adventures you’re interested in.

The island is stocked with tons of fun things to do that don’t require any extra money or bookings. Check out some of the island amenities:

Restaurant / Bar

Yes there is a daily shuttle to and from the mainland in the morning and again in the evening.  Please check in with the island staff to confirm seats on the boat and double confirm the next departure time to ensure you get back out.

* daily boat from mainland leaves based upon guest returns from the day’s adventures

All non residence are required to purchase a fishing license for any fishing trips to Belize. .

Sport fishing license cost:

  • 1 day – $20BZ ($10USD)
  • 1 week (7 days) – $50BZD ($25USD)

Anglers wising to purchase Belize sport fishing license for a one (1) year period need to apply in person at CZMAI’s Office or at an approved distributor of sport fishing licenses. A valid photo ID must be presented at the time of application.
